Demag DVR Rope Hoists Just Got Smarter

The Demag DVR Rope Hoist is getting smarter! All DVR hoists delivered in the US or Canada with the DMU condition monitoring module allows your technicians continuous monitoring from a mobile device. This helps optimize your uptime with operating and usage data, warnings and event logs, and parameterization for authorized users. 

The DEA App is a hub of information for your specific hoist. You’ll be able to track important data for safety and inspections like remaining hoist service life, remaining service life of the hoist brake, total number of lifts and lift cycles. It helps service technicians optimize service and troubleshooting. If called out to troubleshoot, the DEA App gives a list of all warnings, errors, alarms overload incidents, and emergency stops. These can give trained technicians insights into resolving an issue quickly. 

If you are an authorized user, technicians can edit parameters to tailor the hoist to the customer upon installation. This can help you meet your safety and productivity KPIs. Access to parameters can also give trained users the ability to change parameters to troubleshoot and diagnose issues during a service call.
